Hey guys, it's Jake here with Etrailer. Today we have a 2023 Entegra Odyssey Motor Home and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Go Power Solar kit. This kit's gonna have two solar panels and an inverter charger. Like I said, the system's gonna come with two solar panels. They're rated for 200 watts a piece. We've already got those mounted up on our roof. more

Hi. John with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and installing Go Power's Overlander Solar Charging Kit with solar controller. Now, we installed this on our 2007 Fleetwood Revolution Le. Now battery banks are expensive, so it makes sense to invest in something that's going to maintain these batteries and potentially give you off grid features that you like. Now, Go Power has several kits. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Go Power RV solar panel kit. This kit is going to come with three solar panels. Each solar panel is going to have 190 watts of input power giving you a total of 570 input watts, that's gonna be a lot of power for you to be able to utilize as long as you have a battery bank big enough to support it, to give you power for the whole weekend. The vehicle we added these to today is going to be a 2014 Ram ProMaster 2500. This kit is going to fit a variety of different things with the Ram ProMaster, this is the short wheel base, so, it was a pretty tight fit as you can see. more

Now, the cool thing about this kit is it has everything you need to install this and start charging your RV and keeping it off the grid to keep your batteries powered up. Kevin Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer. And today, we'll be showing you how to install the Optima solar panel, with controller here on our 2018 Forest River Wildwood X-lite travel trailer. So, our Optima solar panel is actually made of a poly crystalline material, which makes this weatherproof in a variety of different elements. Our actual panel today is a 60-watt panel. And the entire line of these is actually pretty low when it comes to wattage. If you are looking to just maintain your battery, maybe you put your tray over trailer, maybe your boat, whatever you have in storage for quite a while, maybe a month or so and you come back and you notice that your battery's dead each time, this would be the ideal solar panel for you, 'cause this is not really meant for off-gridding. more

Hi there Coachman owners. Today in your 2021 Coachman Spirit Ultra Light, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install REDARC's 50 Watts solar panel kit. Here you can see our solar panel installed on top. This is a 50 watt panel and it is a monocrystalline panel, which is the preferred style for efficiency. There's two different types of solar panels, you got your monocrystalline and your polycrystalline. Your monocrystalline typically has a higher wattage value at a smaller footprint than your polycrystalline one. more

Solar panels will give you the ability to harness the energy of the sun, to charge the battery banks inside your motor home or camper. The more solar panels you have on top, the more energy that you can harness. If you have enough, you could potentially run your entire camper purely off of solar power and your battery bank.This panel is 190 Watts, which can charge a 12 volt. It can operate about 9.3 amps. And you're going to rely solely on your batteries or your generator to keep your power up and going for however long you plan on staying there with.With a solar panel install you can charge the batteries up in your motor home or your trailer by just using the sun that's outside. So this happens all day long, so you don't need necessarily a shore power. Today you're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to walk through how to install the Go Power Solar Charging System, Redarc Power Management System and the Buyers Product Booster Cable Kit on our 2018 Forest River Salem Hemisphere Lite Travel Trailer. Adding a solar panel to your camper or RV is going to allow you to maintain charging your batteries. So if you're camping somewhere and you don't have a power hook up, the battery charge will allow you to use the appliances inside. Keep in mind it will not run your air conditioners, that will require a generator. However, with solar power maintaining that charging your batteries will allow you to use any other appliances you may need. more
